Motorcycle Instructor Training

Learn to pass on your passion for 2 wheels. Our instructor courses will give you the tools required to deliver safe, effective and professional motorcycle instruction. It will prepare you for the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency CBT Instructor Assessment




Course Requirements

  • You must be over 21 years of age
  • Held a full A class licence for more than 3 years

or

  • Held a Full A2 class licence for more than 3 years (you will be restricted to only instructing CBT and categories A1 & A2)

Course Content

  • Effective instructional and coaching techniques
  • Lesson planning
  • How to deliver Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) - pre-licence instruction
  • Instructor to client/student radio skills
  • Preparation for the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency Instructor Assessment (CBT 1)
  • Course Duration 5 days: Further instruction, if required, can be arranged on an individual basis
