Meet the Team

Our small team consists of highly qualified and motivated professionals who are all experts in their field. With many years of experience in the industry they have the expertise to provide a comprehensive and first-rate motorcycle training experience.

Dave Hepburn

Dave is our Chief Instructor. Passionate about motorcycling, he takes a client focused approach when training. He has toured extensively in Europe and Eastern Australia. 

He is a National Observer and Masters Mentor for the Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists having passed his Masters course with distinction. He is also an "enthusiastic amateur" on the track as well as off road! 

Stuart Brogan

Stuart is an avid motorcyclist with over 40 years motorcycling experience since buying a Yamaha FS1E. He has competed in enduros across the UK as well as numerous rallies around Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Stuart is a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists and is keen to pass on his experience, knowledge and a love of motorcycling to riders at all levels of ability.

Max

Max is our general dogs body. From carrying your gloves to assisting with bike washing, he is a valued member of the team. He has aspirations for a three wheeler - or anything with a sidecar. His outfit of choice would be a Ural. 

Eunice Williams

Eunice is our "Admin Guru". She is a very keen and experienced motorcyclist. Has toured most of Europe on two wheels and is a full member of the Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists. She has completed numerous skills and track days on her trusty CBR650R and is often seen riding her little trailie around Salisbury Plain. She is the font of all knowledge when it comes to the bike school administration. 

Our Team of Track Academy Instructors

Tyson Lewis

Having initially competed in the British Youth Moto Cross Championship, where he finished 3rd. Tyson decided to have a go at track/road racing. Having got the bug and attended x2 Skills Academy Days he decided to go racing and completed his first full season in 2022 finishing 1st in the Newcomers Class with North Glos Road Race Club -breaking 4 lap records on the way. He is a 2 wheel enthusiast & is passionate about passing his experience on.

Tony Hart

Having recently hung his leathers up after 30 years of racing and even winning a few championships. Tony has now decided he wants to help other riders. He has a great passion to share his experience and to see others gain and grow from riding their motorcycle to the best of their ability, especially level 1 clients or those new to the track. 

Tim Hawkins

Tim has been competing on motorcycles for 50 years.He started riding trials, moto x , enduro solos and sidecar. He is now in his tenth season racing with North Glos Road Race Club having started on R1s, raced mini twins, supertwins, cb500, 675 and is currently racing in the FPR Bandit Challenge. Tim loves passing on the love of keeping it upright and the wire tight!

Lee Marks

Lee is a national road race licence holder and is currently competing in club racing with North Glos Road Race Club. He is also passionate about all things Ducati! and is a mechanic at Louigi Moto - Ducati specialists.

Lee is keen to help anyone improve their riding skill level with his extensive knowledge.


Shelley Pike

Shelley travelled in Europe, watching the 24-hour racing series in the late 90’s then took up racing in 2000 based on her motto of “it’s better to be a has-been than a never was”, this first foray into racing was with the National Endurance Championship on a fire breathing R1. Gradually going down in cc she has competed at the Manx GP 12 times achieving best results on her RVF 400, attaining 4 replicas. She also competes on a classic Ducati 350 single with the CRMC.

Max Symonds

Since the age of 6-months old Max has been in the road racing paddock, getting his first motorbike at just 4 years old! Since then Max has gone on to compete in motorcycle racing at club, national, and international level. He has won 10 championships, 2 ‘King of Combe’ titles, and scoring competitive results in the BSB racing series. Max now works full-time at Castle Combe Circuit and is keen to pass on his knowledge and experience to those starting out on their circuit racing journey at his local track.

Rich Llewellin

Rich has been Involved with all types of 2 and 4 wheeled motorsport since leaving school in 1976, short circuit road racing has taken the precedent over the last 25 years. With over 20 years of Track day Instructing working freelance at Pembrey, Castle Combe and latterly with Classic Bike Trackdays, Rich is also an accredited ACU Road Racing Coach.

He setup Louigi Moto Ducati specialists in 2002 and is happy to take time out and share some of the knowledge he has gained, back to those wanting to learn. 


Rob Knoyle

Rob has been riding motorcycles since he was a nipper and still has the bike he learnt to ride on - a BSA C12. Rob moved on to racing late in life, cutting his teeth in the National Endurance Championship on a thumping Honda SP1 in the early noughties, he is now competing in the 500 BSA Gold Star championship with the CRMC, coming 2nd in the 2022 championship. He loves to tinker and race anything with 2 wheels and an engine. Motto “seldom first, never last”!

Dave Lindsay

Dave started riding at an early age and had a mispent youth riding Enduro and MX. He did his first trackday in 1999 at Magny Cours and has had the superbike bug eversince. He has toured and trackdayed all over Europe and the UK for over 30 years. He loves riding in the wet and after a 33 year career in the Fire Service has finally had a chance to go racing this year. He has been an instructor at Castle Combe Circuit for the last 10 years.
